When learning is designed and delivered well, the results are like magic. Learners become excited about what they know and can do. Their attitude is different and their behavior changes. New behaviors produce new and better business outcomes. Magic also provides some great metaphors for helping people understand the keys to good learning design and delivery.
Most importantly, what we know about magic is there is no real magic. If you understand how a trick is done then the outcome is very predictable.
